Organic gardening for tomatoes: is it worth it?
Eating a fresh juicy red deleicous tomato is a real treat in the summertime. Growing tomatoes is a weekend leisure activity which a few have chosen to make a career. New attempts are being made to grow them in harmony with nature which is a huge step towards sustainability and preserving the enviorment.
Growing tomatoes naturally is an environment friendly method. They can even enter our food chain and harm our health. These organic fertilizers are made up of plant waste, cow manure, chicken manure etc. and are feed time to time for the healthy growth of a tomato plant. Also it is a good idea to plant tomatoes in a sunny place since they like alot of sunlight. Planting the young tomato plant deep inside the earth also helps in proper absorption of the nutrients from the soil.
